Jim is currently Chief Science Officer at Life Time MIORA, where he leads the scientific strategy for one of the country's largest longevity and performance platforms. He serves as Chair of the International Peptide Society and Clinical Co-Chair of the A4M Advisory Board, training thousands of practitioners in peptide therapeutics, metabolic resilience, and integrative care. Earlier in his career, he served as the Integrative Medicine Program Director for the NFL Hall of Fame Health and Performance Program.

Jim is the founder of Metabolic Code® Enterprises, which launched a cloud-based platform that translates metabolic data into personalized clinical roadmaps.

Jim serves as Clinical Co-Chair of the A4M Advisory Board, where he has overseen integrative-medicine education for more than a decade, and was named A4M Faculty of the Year in 2017. He served as a Clinical Instructor in the Master of Science in Integrative Medicine program at George Washington University and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy.

Author and Authority in Metabolic Health Literature

Jim is the leading authority on metabolic health, including drug-induced nutrient depletion and microbiome disruption, and is the author of The Drug-Induced Nutrient Depletion Handbook (now in its second edition), the Nutritional Cost of Drugs, and the Lexi-Comp database on the same topic. He is the founding author of the NHI On-Demand database and has authored more than 26 books, 20 e-books, four professional databases, and 200+ articles.

His best-selling book, Cracking the Metabolic Code, is the foundation text for the framework Jim developed across decades of clinical practice. His most recent book, Peptide Handbook: A Professional's Guide to Peptide Therapeutics, brings together years of practice and teaching on peptide medicine.
